    PROGRAM OVERVIEW
    We invite you to attend a CME/CE-certified presentation titled, “Elevating the Role of Cardiologists in Diabetes Care: Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Strategies With GLP-1 Receptor Agonists.” This activity will improve the knowledge, competence, and performance of learners to optimize treatment for patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) at high risk of cardiovascular events.

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES

    ·       Evaluate the latest CV outcomes data and guideline recommendations for GLP-1 RA therapies in the management of T2D 

    ·       Compare the clinical profiles of GLP-1 RA based therapies for the management of T2D

    ·       Incorporate GLP-1 RAs into the treatment of patients with T2D and CV risk based on dosing recommendations, the latest evidence, and patient needs

It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

    To receive CME credit and/or MOC points, you MUST pass the posttest and complete the evaluation. For ABIM MOC points, your information will be shared with the ABIM through CCO’s Joint Accreditation Program and Activity Reporting System (JAPARS). Please allow 6-8 weeks for your MOC point to appear on your ABIM records.
